208.properties believes in giving back to the community through non-profit work. Since its inception, the firm has been a part of some amazing organizations in raising funds for people, families & organizations in need. For the first three years, our firm worked underneath a non-profit in Laurel’s Legacy to help individuals and families in need who were impacted by cancer. Along with also assisting in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 208.properties was able to be a part of these teams to raise over six figures to help these families & individuals in need!
In 2021, 208.properties hosted its 4th annual golf tournament. After a thorough search in deciding which non-profit 208.properties wanted to donate to, the company chose East Boise Youth Baseball & Softball as the beneficiary! These proceeds were extremely impactful for EBYBS & made a significant effect on their organizations. The proceeds raised from the golf tournament supported buying every player their summer baseball season jersey, field equipment, funds to help pay for umpires and the list goes on.
We couldn’t have been any more excited to have EBYBS as our beneficiary and help promote kiddos to get off the screens on their phone and get outside to play some ball!
In 2022, 208.properties is hosting its 5th annual golf tournament to raise funds and awareness for Seven Oaks Elementary because they hosts the Early Intervention Preschool Program for all of Eagle. This means that all preschool aged children in the Eagle area who have a developmental delay and want to enroll in the public preschool services will be sent to Seven Oaks. As such, it's especially important that Seven Oaks have a playground that is suitable for students with developmental disabilities.
It’s extremely difficult for someone who uses a wheelchair or a walker to roll across wood chips. Even a person who uses forearm crutches or has balance issues will struggle because it's hard for them to navigate uneven surfaces. The majority of the playground is inaccessible and unusable for her right now. Even if she could roll across the woodchips, there is nothing on the playground right now that she could roll up to and play with from her chair. Because of this cause our company is dedicated to getting our community children the proper playing equipment.
In 2023 our mission was to raise both funds and awareness for the esteemed Idaho First Tee Program. As always, our commitment to giving back to the community remains steadfast, and we're excited to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals through this exceptional initiative.
The Idaho First Tee Program is a remarkable initiative that focuses on imparting life skills and valuable lessons to young individuals through the sport of golf.
